When I was just a teenager, one of the unforgettable issues I have to deal with is my self-inflicted belief that on the surface I was too unattractive to get the attention of women.

I was suffering from the lack of self-confidence then. Along this line, people experienced different types of insecurity. A very popular insecurity of course is the physical appearance. Some feel to be too old. Some men think they are too chubby. They could lack the necessary height.

With the idea of demystifying a lot of myths surrounding the dating game, we must spend some time to inspect or scrutinize these myths which since the beginning of time caused many men from experiencing a happy and successful love life.

Myth #1 – You Must Be Handsome To Get Women.

All you have to do is look around at the various types of guys in this world who are dating gorgeous women to know that this isn’t the case. Simply put, it is vital to look good regardless of your physical attractiveness. Is there a difference?

You may not be able to drastically change your looks but you have the control on your presentation via the way you groom and wear your hair as well as how you smell and the clothes you wear. You know the rest. Taking the necessary direct control of the way you present yourself can make any man more attractive.

Myth #2 – Women And Men Are Thinking The Same.

Obviously, a lot of men assumed that everyone especially women sees things in the same light they see things. As an example, if you’ve ever had a pimple on your forehead that felt so big, it was like everyone could see it. But the pimple was under the skin, and in reality, no one but you could tell it was there. Very few people if any will notice, while you think it is obvious.

Women are known to rely on different standards as far as gauging men. I am saying though that women are factoring the usual physical attraction aspect. The thing is women are not placing much greater emphasis on physical characteristics as much as we men do.

The truth is that women are basing their attraction on how a man makes them feel instead of just totally relying on physical characteristics. You don’t have to be hunk or a certified model to attract women. This is why social status and confidence attract women. Men who make them laugh and could stimulate their intellect have more advantages. Excelling on the things you are doing is another big factor to attract women. Try to understand and apply how this works. For women, looks takes a back seat.

Myth #3 – Women Are Aware of Our Flaws.

Of all the people in your life, there is no one that knows more of yourself than you! So we naturally see all our defects like big eyes, large noses and ears, a frail chin or a thinning hairline. No matter what it is, we know it!

Since we see our flaws, we naturally presume that others do too, when in fact the majority of people do not pay attention. Unless that is, they look especially for some characteristic to hold against you. Most fret over their own insecurities whatever they may be, without noticing yours.

You should know the fact that in reality majority of women are not conscious of your insecurities and they will only note them when you call their interest attention to them. So it makes sense to just disregard your insecurities. There is no need to call the attention of the people around you just for them to think you are ugly.

Insecurity is very unappealing kind of thing and it could block the flow of your charisma. Think hard about it. Always remember that it is very important that you give more attention and focus on your fine qualities instead of scrutinizing the things you lack. The positive should surpass the negative or at the very least balance the scale in your advantage.

Myth #4 – Attractive Men Are Granted Easier Path.

This is probably the biggest myth there is. This assumes that if a guy is good looking, girls are going to automatically following him. Of course, if you are a famous good-looking actor this can be applied to you. However, in the long-run this is not always the case. Attraction is about stimulating the emotions that a woman feels when she’s around you, and linking it to you in such a way where they only way she can get those feelings back is to be around you.

When a man matches the physical type of man, a woman prefers she naturally gravitates towards him, simply because those features appeal to her. Those feelings go away if she considers the man to be incompatible, a jerk or a bore.

For example, take a man that a woman is not physically attracted to initially and then give them some time while he causes her to experience pleasure, excitement and fun, eventually, she will become attracted to him.

Others want to be around you when you make them feel good; this is one of the basics of attraction. You don’t have to be a good guy to make women feel good! You just need to know how to interact with them.

Despite any shortcoming you may think you have, once you begin leading a woman down the path of sexual attraction, she begins to see you in a much different light, so there is no need to look straight from a cover of a male fitness magazine.
